Countdown to Confetti: Monsterous

Well, I've been in crafting/creating mode off and on for the last couple of weeks, getting ready for this September release from REVERSE CONFETTI, knowing I was going to be in Arkansas this last weekend.  Lindsie had a couple of soccer games to play in Bentonville, so my oldest daughter, Shelbie tagged along and we made it a super fun girls trip with soccer and sightseeing!   Let me tell y'all, that's one cute little town!  We had so much fun, but now it's time to get back to business and start the countdown to NEW Confetti goodies!  Over the next few days we'll be showing off 7 new stamp sets, 11 new Confetti Cuts sets, a new 6x6 paper pad, and some awesome little exclusive treat boxes and bags!  So anyway, let's get started with the countdown!

I'm going to start my sneak peeks by introducing this adorable new MONSTEROUS stamp set and its coordinating MONSTEROUS Confetti Cuts, plus a few other new goodies...

Watercoloring these little guys was super fast with my Adornit watercolor pencils and a waterbrush, so I thought, "why not do all 3?"  I used a strip of patterned paper from the new EVERY LITTLE BIT 6x6 pad and then layered two of the new WONKY STRIPE PANEL Confetti Cuts to go with my monstrous look.  I added the sentiment and little top embellishment, used my clear Wink of Stella pen and some glossy accents on the monster's eyes, and it was done!

I came up with my next project way back when I went on that crafty retreat with my LBH girls.  It uses the new CLEAR TREAT BOX and BOX WRAP Confetti Cuts that fits around it perfectly.

For this project, I cut 2 of the box wraps in lime green and then 2 of the "tooth sections" of the box wraps in white.  I trimmed the white to fit over the green scallops to create the teeth.

Then using several circle Confetti Cuts, I made the eyes.  I wanted an area for a sentiment, so I just measured another piece of green cardstock to fit on top and stamped it with a sentiment from the new MONSTEROUS set.  He looks so cute filled with candy corn!!!

****we won't talk about how much candy corn was consumed while making this project.****
