February Sketch for You to Try from Reverse Confetti

Well, first of all, I want to thank everyone who stopped by my blog yesterday to leave a little love for my best friend Jen (the owner of Reverse Confetti) and then hopped along with us to support her.  She texted me in tears, that she was so moved by our entire design team blog hop.  If you missed it or want to know more, please check out THIS POST HERE.

SFYTT
For today, I'm sharing my take on the REVERSE CONFETTI Sketch for You to Try for February.  Oh man, it's super easy but really fun because there are so many possibilities.

My card "story" begins with the first longer panel that I made using a cut from the SWEET TREAT TENT (Remember that guy?  He was RC's very first Confetti Cuts die!)  I trimmed it a bit, so that it would fit onto my card a little better.  Then I added a LACY SCALLOP CIRCLE in PIGGY BANK cardstock.  I made the little tag from the GOODIE BOX ADDITIONS Confetti Cuts and the XOXO Confetti Cuts die set (heart)Then there's that sweet elephant from the COFFEE AND YOU stamp set that I colored up with my Copics and then cut from the COFFEE AND YOU Confetti Cuts.

I am not usually drawn to pastel colors, but I think this card really works for going that direction!  I think I'll give it to my youngest (13 year old) daughter, Audrie for Valentine's Day with a little treat from Starbuck's enclosed.  Don't tell her!!
