November Diva Inspirations Hop

Well, it's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop!  You should have made it here from Maureen's BLOG, but if you've just joined us, there's a link list at the bottom of this post so you don't miss a thing!

There are TWO $30 gift vouchers to the Verve store up for grabs this month and two ways to win! First, comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) for an entry in the first giveaway. Then to be entered into our challenge prize drawing, go get inky and link up your take on the challenge. You have until December 5 to link up. Feel free to play along with the challenge as many times as you like. Verve stamps aren't required to play, but we do smile a little brighter when we see them!

These rustic trees in blues and greens bring images of Old World Christmas to mind. Add in some baubles and finery, or keep it simple and rustic.  Either way, it's sure to inspire.  There are no rules... follow our color pattern or head off in whatever direction these pretty trees take you.  We can't wait to see what you create!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So when I started making this card, I had the flower I used from BE BLESSED in mind to be a Christmas flower for my card and use the colors from the inspiration.  I must have gotten distracted...the phone rang, my mom needed me, a child of mine had a problem, glitter!...SOMETHING!  I ended up stamping the flower in a red and went to town making a fall birthday card!?!?  You know how y'all can get on a roll creating!  Anyway, I had a ball making this card as it has a lot of mixey-matchy patterns that I love and at least that "kind of" goes with the abundance of patterns on these trees, right?  I used the PETAL POINTS die to cut out that flower (thank goodness for that die!), and stamped the sentiment and leaves onto a cut from the CLASSY LABEL DIE.  Ok, so just imagine this same card saying Merry Christmas in all those cool blues and greens!  It's totally doable!  So there's your jumping off place to create YOUR challenge card--COPY this one and use the tree theme and actual colors!  LOL!

  22. The moment I saw your card I was confused if I hopped onto the right link. Yes distractions are bound to take place with kids, putting you off track. Your card is beautiful anyway.
