Well, today is the last day of REVERSE CONFETTI'S CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS series. You might think we saved the best for last, but for me, it's a hard decision on what my favorites have been so far. The entire Confetti Crew has done some amazing work these past few days and I can't wait to see what they have all created for today--Christmas Decor and More!
I came across this amazing wooden Christmas tree with the twine and clips I had envisioned already attached for 60% off, so I snatched it up right away (it came to $9.99), came home, ordered a collage print on my Walgreen's app in case I needed several small pictures, and started the embellishing process...
I knew I wanted to create a couple of mock "gifts", so I started by creating the squares with some AVOCADO cardstock and pieces from the VERY MERRY 6X6 PAPER PAD. Next came the paper bows from the LAYERED BOW Confetti Cuts.
As I was trying to stick with a very graphic, but rustic theme, I thought it would be fun to add a couple of pure white snowflakes, mixed with some STONE, AVOCADO and BRICK colored accents. I used the LAYERED SNOWFLAKE Confetti Cuts from last year, but kept them very simple.
I had purchased the metal accents and just highlighted them with a snowflake and the one picture of my girls from last Christmas.
The tag was super fun to make. I used the long skinny tag die from the IN THE BAG Confetti Cuts and a snippet of paper from VERY MERRY. I had been looking at some older Christmas paper from Simple Stories that said, "cheer" on it and realized I could do that with my CLINK Confetti Cut and just cut off the "S" at the end!
Okay, so what do y'all think? Super fun and "collage-y/trendy", no? I happen to love it. The best part? I can take it all off and start over every year! Wouldn't my cute little embellishments and photo make a great scrapbook layout?! Don't be surprised if you see that transformation in the near future!
pssst...hey, Little Blue House 'Fetti Fan girls--do y'all see anything on here that we could make for our Christmas tag workshop coming up in December? I do. Wink wink!!
