For You Gift Tags--Challenge Accepted

Well, it has become perfectly clear this week that the girls are back up to full speed with school starting and all their other sports activities.  Last week, we were fine, just getting into the new routine of homework and soccer practices, but this week it's all that PLUS school meetings, Audrie made the volleyball team so there is a game tonight, and Lindsie made the ensemble cast for the huge district-wide production of Grease, so she has rehearsals almost every afternoon/evening.  Also, let's just throw in that this week is homecoming week, so that means I've been making a mum, and I have some huge design assignments for The Little Blue House and Reverse Confetti I'm working on.  Needless to say, sleep is overrated (this week)!!!

Anyway, I wouldn't trade this crazy life for anything, and as you can see, I still found a little time to create something to share with Y'ALL!!

This project using all REVERSE CONFETTI stuff is actually a color challenge FAIL.  I had seen earlier in the week that Claire from The Paper Players blog had issued a "Back to School" Color Challenge--PP308.  Well, apparently I didn't read the fine print and the colors are supposed to be Red, Blue, Black and Yellow, NOT Red, Blue, Black and GREEN!  So I can't enter.  Oh well, these tags are still cute and fun!

I made these three little tags just alike to have on hand to add to gifts when I need something in a pinch!  I used the THANKS TAG as my base piece and added the touches of white with the strips and circles folded over the tops.  Then for each color, I die cut the words, stars and top tabs using the "for you" from the TAG ME, TOO, SEEING STARS and HANG UPS Confetti Cuts dies.  I happened to have coordinating REVERSE CONFETTI SOLID TWINE as well, so I used matching colors for that!  I added black brads and some rhinestones and they were done!  These took me only about 30 minutes to make all three.  When you make yours, be sure and use the right colors if you enter a challenge.  LOL!

  1. Fun tags, I like the dimension and dotted dp. They are happy little tags :)

  2. Love these tags, Susan! I'll have to start making these for Christmas! Hugs!
