August Sketch for You to Try from Reverse Confetti

Well, yesterday was a bit of a grueling day.  I had run to the store and noticed one of my tires has a small tear in it.  It's still driveable (although I have three tires that need replacing), and my pressure sensor is saying it's fine, but I'll have to get it replaced this weekend (probably all 3) if for nothing else but my sanity.  Oh and also, Audrie is running a fever for no reason at all, so we are keeping an eye on that.  Then while working on a big project for The Little Blue House and using my Silhouette, my laptop decided to quit on me.  The charger cord actually sparked, and then no power to the computer.  We replaced the battery and charger last night to the tune of $160!  And here we thought we were going to get started school shopping for the girls this weekend...Pffffft!! There goes that money!

Luckily, I had already made my card for this month's Sketch for You to Try from REVERSE CONFETTI and had it all edited beforehand (even though I almost went to bed without writing this post--it was a rough day!).

At the time, I had school shopping and things like that stepping into high gear on my mind, befitting the theme of my card!  I used the ALL APPLES stamp set and coordinating ALL APPLES Confetti Cuts for my cute apples along with the FLOWERS FOR MOM Confetti Cuts as their backdrop.  The slant in the sketch was a perfect opportunity for me to incorporate the new CIRCLE BAND Confetti Cuts and then I added the fun detail of the stitched lines using the EDGE ESSENTIALS die set. Here's hoping that today is a better day (I'll be at work all day, so what could possibly go wrong?).
