You are One-of-a-Kind

Well, I feel like it's been a while since I ventured onto my blog here.  We have a lot going on, that's for sure!  Between taking care of my mom, tending to all of Lindsie and Audrie's activities (along with a new boyfriend for Lindsie--we like him!), working and designing for The Little Blue House (my favorite-est job ever!), and having to buy a new car last week (yes, HAD to--the wheels were literally about to fall off my '98 Expedition), I've barely had time to breathe!  I'm beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel, but not for too long!

So for my post today, I'm sharing a card that I made for my 'Fetti Fans card workshop last month at LBH, but that I never talked about here.  I actually love this card, and it deserves its 15 minutes of fame!  LOL!

A couple of the girls on the REVERSE CONFETTI Crew had used the DOUBLE PANEL HEARTS Confetti Cuts "twice" and placed them side by side for a larger effect and I just loved that idea!  I had to share it and incorporate that into this card for my girls taking the class last month.  The seam where they meet is just covered by the green strip--easy peasy!  Then I used the FLOWERS FOR MOM Confetti Cuts to create a nice resting place for my large butterfly from the BUTTERFLY DREAMS stamp set and then cut it and the smaller red ones from the BUTTERFLY DREAMS Confetti Cuts.

Stay tuned--I'll be back in a couple of days to share my April SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY card!

  1. I love this card! I love reverse confetti! I love that paper too. Where did you get that paper?

  2. This is so beautiful, Susan, the colors make me happy :)

  3. I love this! It's bright and cheerful and makes me smile!
    Take care!

  4. Your card certainly deserves 15 minutes of fame . Everything about it just works, Susan ! I love the gorgeous paper you used and wonder where I can buy this?

  5. This is so good. Dear, I like all your post very much, it tells me so many thins that I do not touch before, hope you can do this job all the time. By the way, I want to introduce a useful Free Photo Recovery Software, which is a fantasy.
