More Than Jellybeans

Well, who do you love more than jellybeans?  It's that time of year again and all the Easter candy is already starting to show up on the heels of Valentine's candy (that, by the way, is 90% off at Walgreen's right now).  I'm sure I'll be grabbing a few bags of jellybeans and those little robin's eggs very soon.

It's been a little crazy in Lilesland as usual.  My mom is having an angioplasty done in a couple of weeks and then will need bypass surgery on both her legs in the near future right after that.  She's lucky I DO love her more than jellybeans, because It's been rough with several doctor appointments, tests and a day in the hospital recently.

Speaking of MORE THAN JELLYBEANS, that's the name of the stamp set and Confetti Cuts dies that I used for the bunny on my card today.  I saw the candy at Walgreen's and just had to jump on making this card (less calories than eating the candy).  I started by playing along with the latest VIVA LA VERVE sketch HERE.
You can barely see it now, but the aqua and green layer is made from the new EDGERS Confetti Cuts set--the scallop one layered underneath the straight edge one. The bunny has a background from the SWIRLIES Confetti CutsI'm digging that look, I may have to do that again! It's finished off with a grassy edge from those crazy Martha Stewart fringe scissors and a scallop border and some hearts from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts set.

Please send all the positive thoughts, prayers and happy wishes you possibly can this way for my mom, she's feeling scared about all this.  She's 75 and ready to feel good again!

  1. Your mom will sail through all this, I bet! Lots of prayers going your way for you both! I pray that her surgery will be successful and her recovery quickly. Hang in there! Hugs!

  2. Best Wishes for your Mother's upcoming surgery! This card couldn't be more cheery if only that bunny were Chocolate! Precious,

  3. You know I love love love those swirlies and bling! The bunny looks yummy enough to take a bite out of:-)
