Happy For You, Spring

Well, I thought I'd just pop in to share a quick little card I made.  The weather has been glorious here in N. Texas for February. The flowers are confused and are trying to bloom, so I was inspired by "early-onset" spring to make this fun card and add some scrunchy spring flowers to it.

I started with some new papers from Simple stories and a scrap of DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER and just started layering these things onto my card base.

I stamped the sentiment from BIG NOTES and just cut around it into a rectangle.  I die cut several sizes of flowers from the LOVE BLOOMS Confetti Cuts and wadded them up.  After unfolding, I just glued them together in layers for a dimensional effect and added the rhinestone centers.  I created a cluster of flowers, hearts from the STAMPED NOTE Confetti Cuts and leaves from the LEAFY Confetti Cuts set just below my sentiment piece and then added the twine bow to finish it off.  If it weren't for me trying to multi-task and make another project on my Silhouette and talk to Jen on the phone at the same time as I was making this card, it probably would've only taken about 20 minutes to make.  This one took a little longer.  LOL!

I hope you're enjoying an "early-onset" spring or are about to get some warmer weather.  I'm ready to redo flower beds, and I don't even enjoy gardening!
