Well, usually right after the Reverse Confetti Release, I get to take a little breather (you know, finally do all the domestic things that get put off when you have crazy deadlines), but not this week. I had to keep right on keepin' on because this week is what I dubbed "Doctor Palooza" week with my mom. She's had an appointment of one type or another every day this week, so my crafty time has been at a minimum. We started down the cardiology track with her (she'd never been seen by one before), so many tests were in order this week. Today, we will be finding out the results from them all. Wish us luck!
I did manage to get a little crafty on Monday afternoon before all this really ramped up, and made a couple of new cards (one is for the Inspiration Station, so if you've not signed up for the Reverse Confetti newsletter yet, I highly recommend. Wink!). As far as this card goes, can you tell it follows the latest SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from REVERSE CONFETTI? LOL!
I think this has to be one of my favorite cards I've made in a while! To be honest, when I first saw the sketch, I was not in love with it. BUT, it was actually super fun and easy to work with! Look out LBH 'Fetti Fan girls, we might have to use this in class! I used my new favorite bunnies from the HIPPITY HOPPITY stamp set and die cut them with the HIPPITY HOPPITY Confetti Cuts. Then I die cut them again with a circle die, leaving their ears clear of the "blade", so that they would stick out. This let the bottom of them follow the curve of the circle backgrounds. For the other two circles, I used the STAMPED NOTE Confetti Cuts for the hearts, and the love word from the LOVEY WORDS Confetti Cuts set, paired with the LOVEY WORDS COORDINATES stamp set. Don't tell Eric, but I'm giving this one to him for Valentine's Day, and no you can't read what I'm writing on the inside! hehe.
