December Verve Diva Inspiration Hop

Well, it's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! There are two ways to win Verve prizes: comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) to see their take on the inspiration, then go get inky and link up your take on the challenge to be eligible in our prize drawings! You have until January 5 to link up, so feel free to play as often as you like.
Our November challenge is Cup of Kindness
Everywhere you look this time of year there's a flurry of color. Shiny ornaments, twinkling Christmas lights, window displays decked out in the merriest of brights. And not to mention all the sweet little wassail, hot cocoa, tea and coffee cups all around. So this month we're challenging you to share a cup of kindness with us. Get inspired by the graphic or blaze your own color trail, just show us some colorful creations!

So let's get to it---The hop started over on Julee's blog HERE and you should have hopped all the way through to SARAH's Blog and then here.  I'm glad you made it!

So for my card, I didn't use the "cup" of kindness as much as the feel of kindness and the colors in the inspiration graphic.  Don't y'all just love those vintage ornaments?  I have a vase full of them as part of my Christmas decor.   I had seen a super clean and simple card on Pinterest, and fell in love with it, so I wanted to see if I could pull something similar off with my VERVE goodies.  All of the stamping was done with the BRIGHT SPIRITS stamp set.  The doves were stamped and cut out by hand because I couldn't find (or couldn't make out because I need new glasses!) my LOVE BIRDS die set, but I'd highly recommend using them!  Then I sponged the birds along the bottom with some light blue ink to make them stand out slightly against the white background and popped them up as if they are holding up the heart ornament.  Then sentiment is one of my favorites and looks great simply stamped in the bottom corner.  It was fun stepping out of my comfort zone and getting clean and simple!

OK, it's time to keep going on the hop, so head on over to see what STACEY did for your inspirational enjoyment!  I'm sure she's got something beautiful to share as always!
