October Sketch for You to Try from Reverse Confetti

Well, I've been on a roll with my crafty mojo lately (and that's a good thing, because I have a TON of deadlines coming up!).  So in keeping with the Christmas theme I started yesterday, I made another Christmas card for this month's SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY (SFYTT) from REVERSE CONFETTI.

Here's a look at the sketch and now
let me tell y'all about my card:

I love the pink and green non-traditional Christmas colors for a card.  I guess having all girls does something to ya!  I used the WINTER WORDS stamp set and "merry" from the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts as the main focus of my card and attached them to one of the squares from the SHAKERS 'N FRAMES Confetti Cuts set.  Everything sits on a cut out of the light green WREATH Confetti Cut and I just left it intact instead of popping out the little bits from the leaves after running it through my Big Shot.  It's backed with a kraft colored circle that I glued it to to keep it altogether. Once everything was layered onto my card front, I embellished with a bit of the HOLLY Confetti Cuts and some twine.  So simple and so cute!  I think this is a new favorite sketch!

Y'all be sure and head on over to the Reverse Confetti Blog to see what the other gals have created for today,
and all the details on how to play along for a chance to win a
Reverse Confetti Gift Certificate!
