Happy Fall-i-Days from Reverse Confetti

Well, today is the last day of our Fall-i-Days online event from REVERSE CONFETTI.  If you are just now hearing about it (I hope not!), I would totally encourage you to visit the last two day's posts for some gorgeous inspiration and fun holiday ideas for Halloween and Thanksgiving from several of our Confetti Crew members.  Today we are focusing on Christmas to round out our showcase!  At the end of this post, I'll have a link list that you can use to see all the designer's projects.

For my Christmas inspiration, I decided to create a quick single page scrapbook layout using my favorite theme--FUN and BRIGHT!! (Just FYI, after I created this layout, I discovered I didn't have ANY Christmas pictures that would fit this color scheme.  Shame on me!  I'll have to take some this year to fill it!)

Ok, so I couldn't wait to run with this idea I had to "string" the lights from the new MERRY & BRIGHT stamp set using different colors to match my paper.  I then cut them out with the matchy MERRY & BRIGHT Confetti Cuts--so fast!  I tied the twine on a few of them by punching two holes and stringing it through and tying a bow, but they are not tied onto the yellow strand.  Each light is separate and is actually secured with pop dots to make it look like they are strung onto the yellow ribbon.

After deciding on my general layout design, it was time to embellish.  I used the WONKY DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts at the bottom of my main panel for the teal border.  Then right above that I stamped the "Merry Christmas" in white onto a strip of red using the JOLLY HOLIDAY  stamp set.

Then I created the holly leaves from the HOLLY Confetti Cuts die and attached it, along with adding a little stickles to my Santa and the "merry" from the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts die and made it look like he is holding it!

You're going to want to see what the other girls did today,
so as promised, here's a link list to all your favorite elves:
