Well, I had a great time teaching another set of 4 REVERSE CONFETTI cards yesterday at The Little Blue House in Keller! Those girls were put through the ringer with lots and lots of stamping and die cutting, but they thoroughly enjoyed it (or so they said)! So the card I'm featuring today was one of the ones we made in class yesterday, using (loosely) the September SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from Reverse Confetti.
Here's a look at the sketch. Somehow some extra panels and pieces made their way onto my card, but you can still see the "bones" of the sketch I started from.
I used the new EASY AS PIE stamp set for the sentiment along with the matching EASY AS PIE Confetti Cuts die set for the pie. I actually cut the "crust" out of felt and the pie plate part is some Christmas paper from last year with snow printed on it, but it kind of reminded me of that speckled blue enamelware from a long time ago, so I used that and inked the edges. Cool, huh!?! The "thanks" is cut from the new THANKS TAG Confetti Cuts dies, and I love it in black as an accent. Alongside the pie, I added a little leaf from the PUMPKIN PATCH stamp set and dies, and also a couple of leafy flourishes with the new LEAFY Confetti Cuts. I can't wait to use that pie set and dies for something for the 4th of July, along the lines of "as American as apple pie"! Hmmm, luckily, I've got a while to think on that!
