Well, we still have one more month until school starts, although both of our girls are already in practices and such for different school choirs and activities. They are starting to ask all the pertinent questions like, "when are we going school shopping?" and "when can we buy school supplies?". I guess I need to get all that in gear pretty soon. It always sneaks up on me. Maybe I'll be a little more proactive this year and start next week (yes, this week and weekend are already booked)!
I used my TEACHERS COUNT stamp set for the wording on the tag which was cut with the TAGGED RECTANGLE die. The apples (took creative liberties again with the colors--haha!) were stamped also from the Teachers Count set and cut with the APPLES die set. I changed up the sketch just a bit and replaced the circle with the flag-ended banner in yellow polkadots from a scrap piece of paper (which I actually intended to adhere vertically--oops!). My clear Wink of Stella pen worked its magic on part of the sentiment to make it stand out. I wish y'all could see how sparkly it is in person. Ok, I think I'll contemplate some online school shopping now....
SUSIE Q-TIP: A gold Uni-ball pen is a must have (along with white and silver). It came right in handy when I needed to color in the apple stems here. Just enough of the unexpected.
