Well, we are back from our fabulous lake trip to Cedar Creek Lake in Mabank, Texas (right next to Gun Barrel City, yes, there is such a place!). It was quite refreshing and a whole lot relaxing! We got to enjoy a wonderful lake house, tubing behind our friend's boat, fishing, swimming, and getting to know each others families better (3 families went). We loved every minute of it and are very thankful for that opportunity!
Flamingo Bay, so I wanted to create a card using my FABULOUS FLAMINGO set from REVERSE CONFETTI to send a thank you note to our friends that invited us. How perfect, right!? So this is what I came up with that I started last night only a couple of hours after we got home, and finished up today. Even though I was super tired, I couldn't wait to get started!
There are several other Reverse Confetti Confetti Cuts dies I used for general shapes besides the FABULOUS FLAMINGO Confetti Cuts to create the flamingo that sticks outside the circle. I just cut a few and started layering them up until I liked it!
SUSIE Q-TIP: Don't forget that you can cut the leaf swag from the PETALS 'N POSIES Confetti Cuts set to shorten it. That's what I did here. Snipped, squished and glued together. The flower covers your "doctoring". Shorter!
