May Verve Diva Inspirations Hop

PSST...I have TWO posts today!  Click HERE for my Sneak Peek for Reverse Confetti.

Well, it's the 5th of the month and time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! There are two ways to win Verve prizes: comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) to see their take on the inspiration, then go get inky and link up your take on the challenge to be eligible in our prize drawings!

The hop started over on Julee's blog HERE and you should have hopped all the way through to SARAH's Blog and then here.  I'm glad you made it!

Our May challenge is Let it Bloom
Florals are always fashionable. Let your creativity bloom and use some fabulous florals on your card. Use the inspiration graphic as a starting point, or head off in your own direction – just show us some blooms!

I was in the mood for a little floral inspiration and this was just the thing to kickstart it (not to mention that Jen brought me a cool blue vintage Mason Jar she had found at a garage sale this weekend that is very similar to the one pictured!).  So I grabbed a set I had not played with before called BUTTON BEST from VERVE and a few matching dies and went to town.  The flowers were stamped first and cut out with the PETAL POINTS dies and then some leaves were added using the LEAFY SPRIGS die set.  The SWEET SCALLOP TAG was used for my main sentiment and then the additional one from the same set is stamped in the corner and fills some of that white space nicely!

OK, it's time to keep going on the hop, so head on over to see what MAUREEN did for your inspirational enjoyment!  I'm sure she's got something beautiful to share as always!
