Countdown to Confetti: Shine from Within and Color Me Happy

Well, today is the second day of sneak peeks from REVERSE CONFETTI's SUPRISE RELEASE.  We have some inspiring projects to show off today!

 NextRelease
Today, the Confetti Crew is sharing what we've made with the new SHINE FROM WITHIN and COLOR ME HAPPY stamp sets, along with several new Confetti Cuts dies including one I'm especially excited about--a word die for "HELLO".  I have 2 cards to show y'all today, so stay with me!

My first card is using the new SHINE FROM WITHIN stamp set that has several uplifting sayings in a great "painted" font.  I absolutely love it and can see myself grabbing it over and over, I even plan on using it for my bible journaling.  The backgrounds on both my cards today employ the new PINA COLADA QUICK CARD PANELS and I also incorporated the new TASSEL Confetti Cuts die on both in extremely different ways.  On this card, the TASSEL die is cut  from cardstock, cut in half, and makes the "rain" coming from the cloud.  The small square behind the sentiment circle is cut using the new SHAKERS 'N FRAMES dies...more on that to come!  Here's a quick look at the SHINE FROM WITHIN stamp set and TASSEL Confetti Cuts die to see a couple of the things I've used so far:

And here's my second project for today....

This card features what I can surely see to be another new favorite REVERSE CONFETTI stamp set, COLOR ME HAPPY.  Jen and I both agreed that this set would be a fantastic and fun set to play with, especially paired with the new HELLO Confetti Cuts die.

I again used the SHAKERS 'N FRAMES as my main focal panel and stamped the "paint" swaths and splatters in several colors for a background.  I added the HELLO in hot pink to the bottom corner and playfully added the TASSEL (in its intended form) that I cut from lavender tissue paper--about 4 thicknesses at once to get it nice and fluffy!

Want to WIN some Reverse Confetti of your very own?
Leave a comment on each of the designer's blogs for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate.  Comments will close at noon CST on APRIL 7th and the winner will be announced at 5pm on APRIL 7th on the Reverse Confetti Blog and our Facebook page.  In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate. After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for the promotional graphic.

SUSIE Q-TIP:  The new TASSEL die looks amazing when cut from tissue paper (solid colors or print), but some other fabulous mediums that you could use to make one-of-a-kind tassels would be any color thin acetate (like the stuff used to wrap gift baskets), printed cocktail or holiday napkins, coffee filters (and then spritz them with color spray--oooh!), and butcher paper.  Try it once you get your Tassel die and let us see what you create with it on our Facebook page.  This Tassel is no hassle!
