April Sketch for You To Try from Reverse Confetti

Well, since it's April 1st (no foolin'), that means it's time for another
Sketch For You To Try from REVERSE CONFETTI!

Here's a look at the sketch:

At first, I thought it was kind of boring, but in reality, it's a really great sketch with LOTS of "embellishment opportunities".

I pulled out my SHINE BRIGHT stamp set, thinking it would be the perfect fit for the tall rectangular shape of the focal panel of the sketch.

I used the SUN 'N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts dies at the top to go along with the sentiment.  I couldn't resist stamping, coloring and die-cutting the small bumblebee from THE BUZZ stamps and Confetti Cuts.  I think I was in a "more is more" mood when I made this, as I even pulled out my sewing machine for a little extra pop.

We'd love for y'all to play along in our SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY Challenge--HERE'S where to find all the details on how and what you could win.  How about an awesome REVERSE CONFETTI gift certificate!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  My original plan for this card was to use only black, white, red and yellow.  Well, when I started grabbing papers, etc., I realized it looked very Mickey Mouse. LOL!  I happened to be talking to Jen during that process, and she said to add some aqua to the mix.  Moral of the story:  1.  Talk to your friends while crafting.  2.  If a color scheme isn't quite right for whatever reason, just add one more color and see what happens.
