Reverse Confetti March Sketch for You To Try

Well, happy winter weather advisory day number 3 from Fort Worth, Texas, home of where winter-and-spring-happens-all-in-one-day over and over again.  Our snow was beautiful.  We got about 4 inches and now the snow has turned into rain, so now we have some nice ice.  Next it will probably be a big wet mess in the next few days as it melts off and gets ready for another round!

All that makes it really hard to believe it's already the first of March and time for another SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from REVERSE CONFETTI!

Here's a look at this month's easy peasy skctch!

As I was making this card, I was thinking about all the icy stuff melting and watching everything get all drippy outside my front window in my craft room, hence the snowflake and popsicle inspiration.  Not to mention the irony my friend came across the other day while driving out in the icy mess--she was behind a Blue Bell Ice Cream truck!  Anyway, I used the LET'S CHILL stamp set and LET'S CHILL Confetti Cuts dies for the sentiment and main image.  Then I added a couple of hearts from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts and a small snowflake from the LET IT SNOW Confetti Cuts set.  All that is backed with some cuts from the CIRCLES 'N SCALLOPS set and then the sentiment is highlighted with the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER.  Ok, I'm off to the store for some ice cream!  Hoping to find my favorite=="I Heart Chocolate" from Blue Bell.

We'd love for y'all to play along in our SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY Challenge--HERE'S where to find all the details on how and what you could win.  How about an awesome REVERSE CONFETTI gift certificate!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  You see what I did there?  I used a snowflake die and it's not even Christmas time or a normal "season" for it.  I bet I could even pull this card off in the summer with one on it!  Maybe it will make you feel a little cooler in the heat.  Just because something is "out of season", there still may be uses for it if it applies to the sentiment you are trying to convey.
