December Sketch For You To Try from Reverse Confetti

Well, our Christmas decorating is now in full swing here in Lilesland.  We have all four trees up and decorated, and just need to make a run to Hobby Lobby for some more chevron burlap garland and a tree skirt.  Now to just figure out where all my other decorations will go.  I'm in the same boat as usual.  No shelves or fun little niches to decorate, so I have no idea where things could go!  If y'all have any good ideas, let me know!

Anyway, I've got 99 problems, but December's SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from REVERSE CONFETTI ain't one of them!  You'll definitely want to give this one a GO, so GO check it out and link your cards up on the REVERSE CONFETTI BLOG for your chance to win a $20 Reverse Confetti gift certificate and the title of 'Fetti Fave!

This month's sketch has an interesting design, with the 5 circles to play around with.

I went with a little more graphic feel than I normally get away with.  I used the LET IT SNOW small snowflakes and glued them on top of 4 of the 5 circles I cut from the CIRCLES 'N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment is from last year's Christmas set, TINSEL 'N TRIM Now for the fun part--Santa's hat is actually made from the witches' hat from the CAST A SPELL Confetti Cuts and the BRANCH OUT Confetti Cuts.  I just cut the brim off the hat and added the "snow" from the trees.  Of course, the white pom pom was a must!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  If you're not using a Xyron sticker maker or Ken's Stick It adhesive sheets on intricate dies, especially snowflakes, just add a dot of glue to the center of them, stick them down and place a rhinestone on top to hide any messy glue "overages".  As y'all can tell, I know what I'm talking about here.
