November SFYTT from Reverse Confetti

Well, how much candy have y'all stolen from your kids already?  Got any good chocolate?  I was way too tired last night to even worry about it or fight for a single piece.  I think I'll be hitting Walgreen's today for some clearance Halloween candy just for Eric and I.  Let's just keep it real here--if I find some Reese's on sale, we won't be sharing.

Anyway, while y'all are still on your sugar high, we've got a new SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from REVERSE CONFETTI!  You'll definitely want to give this one a GO, so GO check it out and link your cards up on the REVERSE CONFETTI BLOG for your chance to win a $20 Reverse Confetti gift certificate and the title of 'Fetti Fave!

This month, the sketch is great and can be dressed up or down, depending on how layer-y you want it.

I kept mine pretty simple with Audrie's Pink Explosion soccer team in mind, hence the pink and black.  I used the WINNING stamp set for the sentiments and pennant and easily cut the pennant out with the matching WINNING Confetti Cuts dies.  The stars are from the OH MY STARS die and everything sits atop the LOVE NOTE and STARS PRETTY PANELS layers.

I know I kind of cheated on the sketch a bit by adding the bow, but I had to.  Audrie's soccer team has a tradition of wearing matching big pink bows in their ponytails (that's her in the bottom row, second from the left-this is their "thriller" picture from our game Thursday night).  We've kind of gained a reputation not only for wearing them (they are put in all the girls hair right before the game and taken out before leaving), but also for WINNING!

We've yet to lose a game this season, will most likely take first place, and are looking forward to a couple of tournaments this month.  There have been times that teams haven't even wanted to play us and another time when a team wanted to just go home halfway through the game--our girls are that tough, but also know when to quit running up the score, keeping good sportsmanship.  So now, we've adopted a new motto as to the pink bows--FEAR THE BOW!  We even had shirts made up!  We are pretty proud of our 16 girls on the team (they are like sisters!) and couldn't ask for a better coach and assistant coach.  This card is for Coach Andy (on the left) when we get our trophy for first place, and that's why I HAD to add the bow!
Take a look at some of these stats since Fall of 2012 on the girls:
65 Games Played: 57 Wins, 2 Draws, 6 Losses
Goals For: 353, Goals Against: 51
Pretty amazing if you ask me!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  A black Sharpie marker was definitely the "way to go" when I decided to color in the pennant's ties.  They are great for quick fixes like this when you just need to color in something small.
