Well, looks like I've had a little secret for a couple of weeks. I was asked to be a guest designer for TOP DOG DIES! I'm super excited about this and I got a fun package of their own brand of dies to play with that are all recently released and available now on their site.
So I started my card using another new die set from TOP DOG, the SCALLOPED FRAME & MAT set, and popped it up on my card base that I had layered a piece of floral paper onto to show through the cut out part of the frame. Then I stamped a sweet sentiment and heart from REVERSE CONFETTI using some of the newest stamp sets. I die cut my cat and a few of her accessories (included in the die set) and layered them with my circles in a cluster in the corner of the frame. Such a sweet card that would be perfect for anyone really, whether a cat lover or not! Next, I'd like to see what kind of black cat spookiness I can come up with for Halloween using these dies.
Anyway, I'll be back soon with a couple more projects using my new TOP DOG DIES stash...stay tuned!
SUSIE Q-TIP: I bet y'all didn't know I'm a cheater-crafter. When I use ribbon across the front of my card or a panel, I simply cut a strip long enough to fold over the edges and use Scotch tape to secure it on the back. Then I do a "cheater" bow from a separate piece of ribbon and tie it to the one going across. See? Cheater.
