September SFYTT from Reverse Confetti

Well, Happy Labor Day!  We are out of town in Austin, TX as we speak at a soccer tournament that Lindsie is in, and hopefully winning the championship right about now!  Keep y'all's fingers crossed for us!  Speaking of winning (and the fact that it's the first day of the month), REVERSE CONFETTI has a new Sketch For You To Try that's a real winner (and super easy to tackle).

Here's a look at this month's sketch:

And here's a closer look at my card:

I went for an unusual color combo (maybe I'm ready for fall?), but I thought it was cute with the little oranges from the FRESH 'N FRUITY stamp set which I stamped in two different colors of orange for a little contrast.  I cut them with the FRESH 'N FRUITY Confetti Cuts die for that perfect little outline of white around them.  I stamped the sentiment on a circle and then another scallop circle, both cut from the CIRCLES 'N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set, and did a little piercing around the green one along the embossed line from the die.  LOVE THAT!

Ok, well I hope y'all get a chance to play along with the sketch!  Be sure and check the REVERSE CONFETTI Blog HERE to be inspired by the Confetti Crew and their creations and to get the scoop on how easy it is to get in on the SFYTT action!  Wish us luck in the championship!  Go ODYSSEY '01 girls!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  I hadn't done any paper piercing in a long time.  I still LOVE the way it looks and the little extra detail it gives.  Here's your friendly reminder to get a little piercing done.  LOL.
