All Things Grow With Love
Well, this post was supposed to make it to my blog a little sooner, but I had a few technical difficulties and I am now having to rewrite the post. (Don't ask.) So please forgive me for keeping it short and sweet!
I had been inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest that was super simple and over the top pretty, and thought I'd see if I could capture the same feel of that card using some of my VERVE goodness! (Of course I forgot to pin it and it would take me YEARS to find it again, but it was a beautiful card with just one flower, a spray of leaves, and a flag banner made of ribbon.) So because I love yellow, I thought stamping and cutting out the flowers from the GOOD FRIEND set would be a good start. I then stamped the leaves from the BLOOM & GROW set and used my ELEGANT LEAVES die to cut them out (so much easier!). I used the ROUNDED SCALLOP FRAME die for some extra focus for the sentiment, also from BLOOM & GROW. It was a little tricky getting everything lined up just so, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. And look! Another single corner rounded on the card base!
SUSIE Q-TIP: I don't always choose to make a clean and simple card, but when I do....LOL! No really, when I do, it always seems a bit easier for some reason to balance all that white space with a little touch of black. Try it.
