Reverse Confetti July Release Blog Hop

Well we hope you all agree that this month’s release from REVERSE CONFETTI is hot, hot hot!  We changed things up a bit this month and brought you more dies than ever before, but still quenched your thirst for those fun Quirky Cuties with Rocky Raccoon and introduced what’s sure to be a new favorite, Fabulous Flamingo, just to name a couple of the new stamp sets (there are 4—along with 7 Confetti Cuts Die sets).  Today, we are making a final splash with all the new products, and bringing you our Reverse Confetti new release blog hop.  You’ll have it made in the shade once you see all the fun you can have with this release!
The hop started over on the REVERSE CONFETTI BLOG, and you should have made it here from our 'Fetti Friend, MONIKA DAVIS' blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

I have two projects to share today featuring the new RC products.  First off is this watermelon card I made using the CIRCLES 'N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts, simply layered and glued together.  I added the smallest paisley for the seeds from the PERFECTLY PAISLEY Confetti Cuts.  The little button flower is actually the re-enforcer circle from the new TAG ME TOO die, and the sentiment I chose is from the FABULOUS FLAMINGO stamp set.  I love how I made the edges of the watermelon all spark-a-lay!

I kept the tag on the sweet and simple side, using the new TAG ME TOO Confetti Cuts along with the sentiment from the SO VERY SPECIAL Keywords stamp set. I cheated and simply wrapped up one of Lindsie's books in butcher paper to show how cute it looks on a little gift.  LOVE!  I'm thinking this may be the way to go this Christmas!

Ok, I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! You've reached the end of the hop!  If you got lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you go, just to keep you "in the know":

July’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along.  Click HERE for a chance to win.  AND, be on the lookout for a NEW COLOR challenge we will be introducing on July 16th and another way to win!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  The Confetti Crew was chatting about how to take a better picture when your card base is white.  Since most of mine tend to be that way, I've started using a subtle background paper (the polkadot) to set up behind my pics.  I think it at least helps it from becoming too washed out in the editing process.  For the tagged package, I just set it on a cane seated chair.  Still working on the photo skills.
