TCP Sneaky Peek Day One: Strange & Wonderful

Well, I've been working hard behind the scenes making cards and gearing up for a new release from THE CAT'S PAJAMAS

Not only is today the first day of Sneaky Peeks, but also kicks off another round for the TCP TUESDAY CHALLENGE.  This time, it's a COLOR challenge.

If you'll notice, I missed the boat on this one.  I started out with those colors for this card, but totally lost sight of the challenge "mid-creation".  Do y'all ever do that?  Anyway, I apologize for that, but I still wanted to give it a mention and give y'all a fair shake at playing along.  Check out all the details on how to get that done over on the TCP BLOG HERE.  There are prizes involved.  :)

Today, the Cat Pack is highlighting the new set, STRANGE & WONDERFUL.  It features one of our favorite penguins lavishing in a bed of flowers.  I colored him and them with my Copics and filled in the grass using my Prismacolor pencils and no blending.  Then I cut out the scene with my FRAMED UP CutUps die (not a new die).

The flower is a new release CutUps die called PETAL POSIES.  It's a nice, large flower set that can be layered up in several different combinations, even big enough for scrapbook layouts!

Here's everything you need to know about THE CAT'S PAJAMAS New Release:

1. All the new stamps and dies will be released on Tuesday, June 17th.

2. If you're IN IT TO WIN IT, visit the TCP Forum at Splitcoastampers to comment and chat on the IN IT TO WIN IT thread every day for an opportunity to score some new TCP goodies.
3. Save the date for the Pajama Party on Monday, March 24th from 8-10pm eastern time.  We'll see you there!
4.  Visit Alma's Dancing In Pajamas blog daily through the 25th to see where you can reward yourself with more SNEAKY PEEK eye candy!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  It's ok to mix your coloring mediums on your cards and projects.  Just make sure if you're mixing alcohol markers (Copics, Prismacolor Markers, etc.) that you use them first and THEN use the pencils after.  Or at least don't go over any spot where you penciled with the markers.  They are likely to pick up the waxy color from the pencils and clog/mess up your tips.

Paper:  White, Lavender Moon (PTI), Grape Jelly, Sour Apple (MFT), Lime Twist (MME)
Ink:  Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko)
