New Release Blog Hop From The Cat's Pajamas

Well, it's New Release time from The Cat's Pajamas!  After a week of Sneak Peeks, the Cat Pack has one last dose of inspiration--our new release BLOG HOP!

Blog Hop Cat Call photo Hop_22-1-1.gif
The hop started over on LISA'S BLOG and if you made it here from one of my favorite online friends, LINSEY'S BLOG, you are moving along in the right direction!

I used the new CARD IN A BOX CUTABLE file along with my Silhouette (which I upgraded to the new software--love it!), but there is also a PDF to download and hand-cut if you don't have a cutting machine.  There are also cut files for the new SIMPLE BLOOMS stamp set which I stamped after I cut them and then added the little black dots with a fine-tip pen for detail.  All of those things combined made putting this card together a breeze!

This isn't saying much, but I think the hardest part about this card, was cutting the new BUTTERFLIES CutUps dies from a few different colors and deciding which ones looked the best!  I layered the two larger flutterbies and used the smaller ones as accents.

Ok, that's about it from me!
Your next stop on the hop is
our awesome SWANKY STAMPER, BRENDA!

See y'all soon!  Y'all can check out all the new stamps and dies right HERE at THE CAT'S PAJAMAS WEBSITE.

SUSIE Q-TIP:  My suggestion for today would be to really and truly take advantage of the Card in a Box Cutable.  It really is perfection and I'm not just saying that because I'm on the design team.  I think I would have been discouraged from making this trendy little creation had I not had at least a PDF pattern to follow! One of the best things about it--it folds flat for mailing and still looks cute!

Stamps:  Simple Blooms (The Cat's Pajamas)
Paper:  White (PTI), Bazzill Cardstock, Dark Kraft (Paper Studio), Parkdrive (Webster's Pages)
Ink:  More Mustard, Ruby Red (SU!), Gumdrop Green (MFT), Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  Card in a Box, Simple Blooms Cut Files and Butterflies CutUps (The Cat's Pajamas), Adhesive Rhinestones, Hemp Twine, Black Fine-tip Pen, Foam Boosters, Scor-tape
