Well, here I am, back again but this time with a little Viva La Verve inspiration to share. My friend Stacey Schafer (who I can't wait to meet in person this summer!), has given us an impeccable sketch to play with:
With Teacher Appreciation week fastly approaching, I thought I'd start stacking the deck ahead of time with this fun "teacher" card to give out. I used the TEACHERS COUNT set and stamped the green background, apple background, apple and sentiment before putting it all together. I love that the apple stamp can be colored in or stamped in with the solid shapes for the apple and leaves--makes it so fast to stamp! I cut out the heart with the JOTTED HEART die and used the coordinating APPLES die for, yes, none other than the apple.
Our house is finally in the "toddler" stage here!!! Really starting to take shape.
More to come...:)
SUSIE Q-TIP: I try not to buy too many "theme-y" papers. However, I couldn't resist some "sewing" paper from Carta Bella recently that a friend of mine was letting go of. I found this piece with all the little scissors on it just right for this teacher card. If you're thinking of making any teacher gifts, check your "sewing" styled supplies and see if there's anything y'all can use.
