TCP Sneaky Peek Week Begins Today

Well, it's been a while, but there's a FABULOUS new release coming right around the corner from THE CAT'S PAJAMAS!

There are 7 new stamp sets with all your favorite TCP "friends" and 3 new innovative and totally trendy die sets.

Today the Cat Pack is sharing their creations using the new LEAN ON ME stamp set.

Would y'all believe that this set was conceived by "YOURS TRULY"?  Yep, that would be me!  I approached Alma (the genius behind The Cat's Pajamas) a few months back about an idea I had for PJ the bear, that he could be "leaning" on different objects and that we could include lots of "friendly" sentiments.  I think she included just about all the ones I thought up for this set.  They can be mixed and matched in a number of ways and can even coordinate with a new "number" die set, where he can lean on a large die cut number--perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or any other greeting that would center around a number.

Who knew that sweet Alma would actually take my sketches and design ideas for this set and make them a reality!  It's amazing to see it in stamp form and see my crafty friends on the team come up with some cool projects using this set!

While I didn't use the new cool numbers die set on this card, I was able to sneak on a new die cut from the new FRAMED UP 2 DIE SET.  There are 3 dies in this set, one of which is this cool "flag end".  There's lots of ways to use it.  Like this, as just a little tab, or, because the die is open-ended, you can make a flag ended banner of any length.  Look for a video on how it works very soon on the TCP website.
TCPTuesday
Since this is Tuesday, my card also fits Julie's TCP Tuesday Challenge--Make a card that encourages a friend.  You'll get bonus points if you actually mail it!  Be sure and check out The Cat's Pajamas BLOG for all the details on how to play along in the challenge and win some Cat Cash!

Here's everything you need to know about THE CAT'S PAJAMAS New Release:

1. All the new stamps and dies will be released on Tuesday, March 25th.
2. If you're IN IT TO WIN IT, visit the TCP Forum at Splitcoastampers to comment and chat on the IN IT TO WIN IT thread every day for an opportunity to score some new TCP goodies.

SUSIE Q-TIP:  When I use a flag ended embellishment or panel, I like to leave the ends "loose".  In other words, not glued down.  Then I flare them up just a bit for a little dimension.  In this case, don't tie up your loose ends.

  3. This bear is most adorable and you are a flippin genius for thinking up the idea of having him "lean"---it's incredible-I thought everything had been thought up by now and put onto rubber or acrylic lol! But you proved me wrong and I LOVE your fabulous and innovative bear!!! This is a wonderful set and I'm thrilled for you Susan! Congrats and thank you so much for creating it and of course, I'm stoked that Alma made it part of the TCP family!! Looking forward to seeing lots more great inspiration this week!!! Hugs
