TCP Sneaky Peek Day 3: Your Number is Up

Well, it's been a while, but there's a FABULOUS new release coming right around the corner from THE CAT'S PAJAMAS!   Today is Day 3 of Sneak Peeks!

There are 7 new stamp sets with all your favorite TCP "friends" and 3 new innovative and totally trendy die sets.

Today, the Cat Pack is sharing their creations using the super fun new set called YOUR NUMBER IS UP.   I'm thrilled to be able to say this stamp set (and coordinating NUMBERS PLATE DIE) is another one of my concepts I had pitched to Alma a while back.  These are the numbers I was telling y'all about that fit perfectly under PJ's "leaning" arm.  I mentioned it in THIS post.

I wanted to something a little different for my project today besides a card.  My oldest daughter's 22nd birthday is this Friday.  She's the oldest of our 3 girls.  Due to some creative financing for our home loan, two weeks ago, somehow she got a fancy new car out of the deal that we helped with the down payment on.  So technically, she's driving her birthday/Christmas/Halloween/Veteran's Day/Valentine's Day present.  However, I still wanted her to have just a little something to surprise her with on Friday, so I came up with this.  I made a little "band" to go around this tin.

I used the new FRAMED UP 2 DIES to make a little shaker piece that I then die cut the number 22 using the new NUMBERS PLATE DIE and adhered it to the top.  Then the YOUR NUMBER IS UP set was used for the little "Happy Birthday" banners.  I know she'll like it.  Maybe not as much as the new car, but oh well!  It makes my heart happy to give it to her!

Here's everything you need to know about THE CAT'S PAJAMAS New Release:
1. All the new stamps and dies will be released on Tuesday, March 25th.

2. If you're IN IT TO WIN IT, visit the TCP Forum at Splitcoastampers to comment and chat on the IN IT TO WIN IT thread every day for an opportunity to score some new TCP goodies.
3. Save the date for the Pajama Party on Monday, March 24th from 8-10pm eastern time.  We'll see you there!
4.  Visit Alma's Dancing In Pajamas blog daily through the 25th to see where you can reward yourself with more SNEAKY PEEK eye candy!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  With having to pack up my craft room when we moved and keep most of it packed up for our next move, I wasn't able to locate my clear plastic (acetate) sheets to make this shaker piece.  The next best thing was to go to Michael's and buy a little pack of notecards from their dollar section that came in a nice clear plastic box.  I cut it up so that I could die cut the circle I needed.  Crafting emergencies sometimes call for desperate measures.  Anyone need some ugly notecards?

Stamps:  Your Number is Up (The Cat's Pajamas)
Paper:  White, Hawaiian Shores, Orange Zest (PTI), Birthday Bisque (Jillibean Soup)
Ink:  Black Licorice (MFT), Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie (SU!)
Accessories:  Framed Up 2, Numbers Plate CutUps (The Cat's Pajamas), Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Clear Acetate, Sequins, Foam Boosters

  1. loooove, love, LOVE this!!! so fun and festive and fabulous.

  2. And I'm thrilled that your clever and uniquely fabulous ideas have been brought to fruition by Alma because you are incredibly talented and creative and sharing that with the world is a real gift! This number set and coordinating die set is genius, I see it as a staple for any collection and I love it! Your shaker card is super awesome!!! So much fun and delightful inspiration again today! Thank you!!! I'm truly enjoying each day!

  3. I love the dollar section at Michael's for finding stuff that can be recycled. Maybe you can use those ugly notecards as the base for some pretty ones.
You've had some great ideas, I'm glad Alma is listenting to them, my wallet is crying but I'm a happy stamper.

  4. Awesome goodie tin and the shaker box idea. Wonderful as always. Can you use the notecards as backer for a card just use the other side and cover it up with your awesome work. and layer it on a good quality card base..just a thought. if not maybe fire
