March Verve Diva Inspiration Hop--Think Spring!

PSST...I have TWO posts today!  Click HERE for my Sneak Peek for Reverse Confetti.

Well, welcome to Verve's March Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time! This month we've got a fabulous challenge that's sure to put a string in your step! So in addition to a comment prize hidden along the hop, you can play along with the challenge and link up your creation for a chance to win another prize!

Our March challenge is Spring Has Sprung:

It's time to ditch the winter blues! Create a card that sings Spring using inspirational quotes, pretty colors and florals or themes that celebrate new life. Whether you draw inspiration from the graphic or blaze your own trail, just show us what spring means to you!

The hop started over on AMY'S BLOG and hopefully you've hopped along and arrived here from SONY'S blog.  If not, be sure and start at the beginning so y'all don't miss a thing.  Trust me, you WANT to take it all in!

For my card today, I was inspired by the soft colors of the inspiration picture.  I've always loved this phrase I've used too, from the LET IT BE set and I thought it fit right in with the hopes of spring--so inspirational!  The majority of us are really having to rely on our faith that spring will even come eventually, right?  I broke out of my usual habit with this card and did not start from ANY sketch at all, and just let the mojo flow with my mixing and matching of patterns and textures.  My favorite!  I used the flowers from the BLOOM & GROW set, then cut them out with the FLORAL CIRCLES dies.  The sentiment is stamped on the TAGGED RECTANGLE die and the flowers are adorned with the greenery from the ELEGANT LEAVES die.  Of course the PENNANT TRIM die had to make an appearance, too!

Ok, don't stop here, move onto TIFFANY'S blog and see what she's created today.

Need a little inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what the other Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines.
