Deconstructed Sketch 141--Do Not Worry About Tomorrow

Well, it's Spring Break around here and so far, the girls and I are keeping busy with dog parks with Sage, errands, mini golf, running by Lucky Lot #9 every day, and go kart racing.  Today it was around 83 degrees and tomorrow, the temperature is supposed to drop a whopping 40 degrees.  We will be staying inside and having a "do nothing" day---I'll get to stamp!

I made this card a couple of days ago because I just couldn't get this sentiment off my mind.  I've certainly got a lot of things that I could worry about these days--the building of our new home, my new substituting job, and most of all, my bestie Jen del Muro moving away this weekend.  But I'm not a worrier.  Never really have been and this phrase sure keeps that line of thinking in check.  It's so true!

I used some of my newest VERVE stamps, EACH DAY for the sentiment and butterfly and mixed it with a "vintage" Verve set, GRATEFUL ELEGANCE for the pretty pattern on the aqua pieces.  The latest Deconstructed Sketch (141) was a perfect place to start this card.  The embellishments include die cuts from both the WAVY HEARTS and the HEART QUARTET dies.  The brown trim on the side is the FLOURISHED TRIM die.

Here's a couple of pictures of the latest Lucky Lot #9 progress...

They got behind a day or two already due to some ice and snow last Monday (and yes, I did say it was 83 today...Texas, remember?).  However, some of the forms for the foundation went up!  The plumbing is currently going in and I'll share those pics soon...kinda boring to look at right now, but we are so excited, just seeing anything new makes us happy!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  It had been a while since I made my own patterned paper by stamping it repeatedly.  It felt good, and the look is so custom, making it super easy to have your embellishments be all matchy matchy.  Gotta love that.
