December Sketch For You to Try

Well, it's been awhile since I said hello here.  It was Saturday the 23rd to be exact.  I've been a little scarce because the next morning, my mom fell and broke her arm here at the house, possibly caused by another stroke (not near as bad as her first one, thank goodness!).  So we've been to all sorts of doctors and now have nurses, aids and therapists in and out of the house on a daily basis.  I'm hoping to have more of an established routine down soon, but for now, I sneak in a little crafting here and there just for my sanity!  Everything will be ok, but it's taking some getting used to.

Anyway, we all like birthdays and we all need more of them (including my mom), so I used the latest December Sketch For You to Try from REVERSE CONFETTI, and came up with this card!

There's not much to it other than a little sentiment stamped with the new LOTS TO SAY stamp set from Reverse Confetti.

It was a little bit tricky for me to come up with "things" to represent the other two smaller circles.  I know this is a little far-fetched and the heart isn't exactly in the right place according to the sketch.  However, my heart was in the right place with the thoughts I want to convey using it!  Happy Birthday, and many more!

Do you want to win some REVERSE CONFETTI stamps?  Check out how to play along in our Sketch For You to Try Challenge right HERE and your wish just may come true!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  As y'all can see, I opted for a big poofy bow as one of my "circles".  It's a little out of the box, but I made it work.  So squint your eyes and you'll be able to still see the sketch.  And that's ok.  I give y'all permission to do the same.
