Well, after LOTS of technical difficulties today (and interruptions by one unnamed bestie), I'm finally able to write up this blog post for the TCP Tuesday Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas.
At first, I thought the challenge was to just make 3 cards in one sitting basically. But then I went back and actually read the challenge! I had to make three cards using what was still on my desk from the first one. So I guess I cheated a bit and changed up my stamp sets, but that's all!
After the football bunny card was made using the new GO, FIGHT, WIN set, I wanted to stick with a "sports" theme in order to keep the colors and papers aligned with the challenge. So I grabbed the SKATING BUNNY set and the JUST CHILLIN' ice fishing bunny and made the most of it. Which one's your favorite?
All the star embellishments are from CutUps dies. The small one came from the HOLIDAY TOPPERS die and the larger one is from the 3x3 STARS CutUps--both are must haves!
This really was a fun challenge! Look for me to make another set next Tuesday...better start thinking what to make now! In the meantime, y'all need to play along! ALL the info on how, what and where can be found on the The Cat's Pajamas blog HERE!
SUSIE Q-TIP: I use my little foam pad and piercer from the "Mat Pack" from Stampin' Up to poke holes in things for my brads. That's how I did the stars. However, I found that if I poke slowly, it was bending the star as the piercer pushed down on the cardstock. Then I figured out if I STABBED it, it didn't have time to think about bending and stayed perfectly flat. The more you know...
