Well, we’ve been counting down the days, and it’s finally here—the new release from REVERSE CONFETTI and today is our New Release Blog hop (Could it be November already?). With this month’s new release from REVERSE CONFETTI, it’ll be a snap to get a jump start on those holiday cards and projects (yep, Christmas is just around the corner!). Come and hop along with the Confetti Crew as we share some creative ideas using all the new products, including five new trendy stamp sets and introducing CONFETTI CUTS. That’s right, we now carry steel dies, and there are 2 sets to choose from this month. Along with the Confetti Crew and our new CHALLENGE Crew, we’ve also invited some extra friends to join in on the action! Let’s go!

I have two different projects to show y'all today. I'll get back to the PL cards from the first pic in just a minute, but for now, check out the cool bag topper I made using the SWEET TREAT TENT die. I wanted to show y'all yet another way to use this fun die! How about this little bag topper with a bag filled with cookies for a teacher or friend? Cute!

I simply folded my cardstock first and placed it just under the score line for the tab on the top (see graphic below for pic of die to see what I'm talking about). Then I ran it through my Big Shot. It kept the fold at the top, and all I had to do was cut off the bottom, decorate it (so clean and simple with SO STRIPEY and TINSEL 'N TRIM!) and attach it to my little lunchsack with removable adhesive so that the recipient could lift it up from the bottom to open it. The above pic is what it looked like right after I cut it.
Ok and now on to my little handmade Project Life cards--I LOVE THESE! As y'all know, I plan on doing the whole Project Life album someday, so I've been making a few of these little insert cards here and there. I saw a collection of Christmas cards at Target the other day with all white, black and green glitter and KNEW I had to make these and couldn't wait to get home and get busy!
I wanted to keep them super clean and very GRAPHIC, so I picked out a few images/phrases from both TINSEL 'N TRIM and BRING ON THE MERRY. I stamped the black stripes at an angle from SO STRIPEY.
Everything stamped in white is heat embossed with some white fine detail embossing powder (a must have) and I am pretty pleased at how clean I got them without a bunch of stray white specks. That wouldn't have been good! (Then when I was all finished stamping everything and laying it out, I went and moved them all on my desk and got black ink all over one of the white pieces. GRRRR!! Do over!)
Ok, I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more Reverse Confetti inspiration! All the sets are available NOW online at REVERSE CONFETTI. Here's what I used today:

So, I'm the last one on the hop!
What's the verdict? We hope y'all love all the new sets and dies! Just in case y'all want to go back and gaze again or take a second
look at someone's project in particular, you can always find the hop
order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti Blog.
