November Verve Diva Inspiration Hop

{Pssst...I have 2 posts today, so if you're looking for my
Reverse Confetti Sneak Peek, click HERE}

Well, welcome to Verve's November Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time. We love to get our Verve inky around here, whether they're hot off the presses, or a little worn around the edges. So today you'll see Diva creations to inspire you with both old and new Verve! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, one lucky commenter along the hop will win Verve's October Release Collection! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the details.

The hop started over on JULEE'S blog and you should have made your way here from my successful friend, SONY'S blog.  If you haven't seen the hop from the beginning, I highly recommend it--all the divas just OOZE creativity!

That's exactly what I've done with my card today--mixed a little old with a little new VERVE, and then even mixed it up with the MOJO Monday Sketch for this week (#318 and it's a CONTEST week!).

October's release was spectacular with all the fun chevron patterns mixed with Christmas cheer, love and holiday treats, don't y'all agree?  I usually wait a bit before using my super new stuff, but I couldn't resist this time.  Those little deer from the new UNTO US set were the inspiration for this card's "woodsy" feel.  They were stamped and cut using the REINDEER FUN dies.  I placed them on top of the TAGGED RECTANGLE diecut that I stamped using the HOLIDAY TREATS set.  The hearts from the sketch were easily made from the WAVY HEARTS dies and the quirky-fonted sentiment and snowflakes from the HOLIDAY GREETINGS set from last year conveys the warmth of this card perfectly!

Ok, your next stop on this FABULOUS hop is TIFFANY'S blog!  Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win the entire October release from VERVE!  Good Luck!

And since the holidays are just around the corner, Verve has a little holiday sale going on through November 26!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  I wasn't sure I was going to like the snowflakes randomly stamped on the background kraft cardstock and then ran through the woodgrain embossing folder.  However, I was pleasantly surprised and kept it for my card.  I'll definitely be doing that again.
