TCP Sneaky Peek Day Two: Vintage Christmas

Well, today is the second day of SNEAKY PEEKS for THE CAT'S PAJAMAS.  Woot!  This release is over the top with 7 new stamp sets and 3 new CutUps dies, all available on Tuesday, October 29th--that's next week!

Today, the Cat Pack is designing with the new VINTAGE CHRISTMAS set that features some ornate images that are perfect for that traditional Christmas feel.  There are several images that can be mixed and matched to create a collage or to just use as your main focus.  AND, the stamp I used for my card coordinates with the FRAMED UP CutUps die that was previously released.  Sweet, right?  So how many stamps from the VINTAGE CHRISTMAS set did I use?  5!!!!--the main image, the "Dec 25th", the holly leaves in the corners, the red garland on the bottom and the black dots.  As you can tell from full set image below, the little dots are a tiny little stamp!  All I did was repeat it over and over, graduating them from densely "populated" to sparse.  I love how that looks!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  Don't be afraid to splatter a little Heidi Swapp Color Shine or any mist or paint on your card or project.  It creates an extra little effect that looks cool on almost anything.  Instead of spraying it, I unscrewed the lid and splattered the mist by tapping on the end of the little "intake" tube from the sprayer.  Try it on a scrap until you find the technique you like and what it looks like.
