Well, Eric is back at work as of yesterday. What a relief! Now to just hang on until he gets his back pay. We may be going for the ramen noodles if it doesn't come soon!
Halloween is fastly creeping up on us. I love to make Halloween stuff and decorate my house, but this year? Complete fail. Haven't pulled out one thing other than a Halloween wreath on my door (and that was only because I needed to move it to get to something else, so I just stuck it on my front door-ha!).
I love the vintage-y look to it with the un-cutesy papers and glittery black bats (stickers). I mixed the older HAPPY FALL stamp set (sentiment) with the new GEARED UP set (numbers-I LOVE them!) to add to the tag I cut from the SWEET SCALLOP TAG die for the focal point of my card. I also snuck in the new AWARD BANNER border die in black across the bottom, then edged the aqua piece in dots of black Stickles. This card is really sparkly in person!
SUSIE Q-TIP: I don't have a lot of stickers. I'm just not that big of a fan. But when I see some that are ones I can definitely use on a card, I consider getting them. These glittery bats for instance...they came in a package of JUST bats (that's big in my book) and they are all different sizes and make great embellishments. SCORE!
