September Verve Diva Inspiration Hop

(NOTE:  If you're looking for my Reverse Confetti Sneak Peek, click HERE!)

Well, welcome to Verve's September Diva Inspirations Hop! It's the 5th of the month and that means it's time for the Verve Divas to breathe new life into some much-loved stamps and dies. And there's a PRIZE up for grabs too, so be sure to leave a little shout out in the comment section of each blog as you hop about to be entered in a drawing for a $30 gift voucher to VERVE STAMPS! Check out all the details about prizes and this month's sale over at the Verve Blog.  Let's jump right in, shall we?

By the way, the hop started over on JULEE'S blog, and you should have traveled right along and stopped here from Sarah's blog.  Here's more about what I made...

I thought it would be fun to do something different, rather than just the usual A2 sized card (for all ya'll  newbies, that is 4.25 x 5.5").  So I got to nosing around in my massive VERVE collection and came across this semi-old set (older to me, as I hadn't used it yet), TAKE NOTE.  Inspired by some "pinteresting" lunch setups for kiddos these days (bentoboxes?), I decided to make a few little notes in a perfect size to tuck into a child's or spouse's lunch.  I kept them super simple, as they will probably get food on them and get tossed (for shame!).  I went with a monochromatic theme for each one to make my life easy (and ya'll's if you are so inspired to make something similar).  The CLASSY LABEL DIE sets off the cute envelope that is popped up a little extra on each one!  Hmmm, now just to decide who gets which one?

1. Julee8. Tiffany
2. Amy9. Teresa
3. Anya10. Charmaine
4. Betty11. Maureen
5. Karen12. Marisa
6. Sarah13. Andrea
7. Susan

Ok, next up on the hop is sweet TIFFANY.  I can't wait to see what she's got for you too.  I'll beat you there!  Don't forget to comment to win!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  I always forget about my 6x6 paper pads sometimes including solid papers to match their patterns.  This time, I remembered and was able to use that cool grey and teal.  The orange didn't have a solid, so cardstock it was!  Just another PSA from me, to make your life easier when it comes to coordination!

Stamps:  Take Note (Verve)
Paper:  White, Canyon Clay (PTI), Patterns and Gray/Teal Solids (MME, various)
Ink:  Black Licorice, Steel Blue (MFT), Sage Shadow, Pumpkin Pie (SU!)
Accessories:  Classy Label Die (A Cut Above Dies By Verve), Button, Divine Twine (TCP), Hot Glue, Jody Boosters
Finished Size:  3 x 3"

  4. Just a note cards are always appropriate for every occasion. Eleanor Roosevelt wrote on scraps of paper whenever she thought of it and then gave them to people. Imagine if she had had these wonderful stamps and her choice of papers for just a note cards!
