Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Well, we’ve been counting down the days, and it’s finally here—the new release from REVERSE CONFETTI! It’s the 8th of the month (Reverse Confetti blog hop day) and this time we are looking forward to those fall days and the spooky treats that come our way for Halloween. Come and hop along with the Confetti Crew as we share some creative ideas using September’s five new trendy stamp sets. Along with the Confetti Crew (our fabulous design team), we’ve also invited some extra friends to join in on the action!

The hop started over on the REVERSE CONFETTI BLOG, and you should have made it here from TRACEY CUCCIA'S BLOG (She was our July 'Fetti Fave!). It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new REVERSE CONFETTI stamp sets!

So who does Halloween without having a few treats involved? For my project today, I just HAD to make some quick little lollipop covers and trick them out with images and phrases from the new SPOOKY CUTIES and SPOOKY SENTIMENTS sets.

These weren't scary at all to make! Just a few stamped sentiments, circle and scallop punches and some ribbon. Then I stamped the solid images (no coloring skillz required) and cut them out for hot gluing to the sticks. Who's ready for trick-or-treating? I think I'll just eat, drink and be scary. What are ya'll going as this Halloween? (I've always wanted to be the Progressive Insurance girl, Flo!)

Ok, I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more Reverse Confetti inspiration! All the sets are available NOW online at REVERSE CONFETTI. Here's what I used today:

Sooooo, I'm the last stop on the hop.

What's the verdict? We hope ya'll LOVE ALL THE NEW SETS! Just in case ya'll want to go back and gaze again or take a second look at someone's project in particular, you can always find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you go, just to keep you “in the know”…

SUSIE Q-TIP: When making treats for Halloween or any holiday, I like to keep them simple, as it pains me to know that all that work will get torn up and thrown away. Save the fancy stuff for grownups who know how to have "nice things".

Stamps: Spooky Cuties and Spooky Sentiments (Reverse Confetti)
Paper: White, Smokey Shadow, Royal Velvet, Orange Zest (PTI)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Only Orange (SU!)
Accessories: Lollipop Cover Die (Your Next Stamp), Circle and Scallop Circle Punches, Ribbon, Scor-Tape, Hot Glue, Jody Boosters

  1. These are awesome treats Susan, super cute idea!!

  2. Can you say CA-YUTE? I can just imagine everyone ooohing and aaaahing all over them.

  3. OK, I really wish I could make my comments private because I was about to swear on here (in a good way - like "holy crap these are awesome", but replace "crap" with something else, but I decided against it so I don't offend anyone - although since I just typed all of that, it's probably too late now. Oh well). So yeah. These are pretty awesome. The end.

  4. Faaaaabulous, Susan!!! LOVE how cute each and every one of these are. LUCKY you are WAY ahead of the game for Halloween treats. I think I need to make some of these for my preschoolers. I better get busy!

  5. Cute project.
