FMS101--You're Never Too Old

Well, school's back in session and it's pretty quiet around here.  The girls got used to watching the old show, Full House and for some reason, it's still on right now.  I could use the break from the "canned laughter" (Maybe I'm a grump, but it gets on my nerves after a while!).  However, I've enjoyed taking a trip back into the 80's.    Turning it off now!  Admit it, you've left Spongebob on a time or two when your kids aren't around, right?  Just goes to show...you're never too old!  In fact, John Stamos just gets better and better!

By the way, a new REVERSE CONFETTI release is coming your way on September 8th!  Stay tuned!!

Today's card from me kind of follows that theme.  I used the INNER ROCK STAR set from REVERSE CONFETTI.  I stamped the "never too old.." sentiment directly on the patterned paper here.  I should do that more often.  The WHOLE LOTTA DOTS set makes a cameo appearance here in the form of a little yellow dotted flag that was a scrap sitting on my desk.

I've been on the hunt for some new sketch challenges to play in and I found one that was "new to me".  I discovered the Freshly Made Sketches blog and this sketch just happened to be posted just yesterday (FMS101)!  I followed it, but turned it on its side.  Aaanddd, I just went back and read the details of the challenge--it was supposed to be clean lined and simple.  Oh well.  Maybe I am to old to be a rock star.  John Stamos isn't.

SUSIE Q-TIP:  Clear buttons--They make a whole lotta sense when you want one to be there, but not stealing the show.  John Stamos...'nuff said.  And your welcome.

Stamps:  Inner Rock Star, Whole Lotta Dots (Reverse Confetti)
