August Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Well, hello August and Hello REVERSE CONFETTI Fans!  We are on the last leg of our vacation, hanging out at Fiesta Texas in San Antonio...but for ya'll---It’s the 8th of the month –Blog Hop time!  Are ya’ll ready to savor some sweet inspiration?  Grab a cuppa and take some time to enjoy this month’s creative Blog Hop from Reverse Confetti.  Last month’s release was fantastic and today we are inspiring you with projects and cards using those stamps and any other previously released stamps from Reverse Confetti.  Along with the Confetti Crew (our fabulous design team), we’ve also invited some extra friends to join in on the action!

The hop started over on the REVERSE CONFETTI BLOG, and you should have made it here from LAURIE WILLISON'S blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all of Reverse Confetti’s amazing stamp sets!

Here's a closer look at what I created for ya'll today!...
I started with the new August SFYTT, and knew I wanted to create something bold with lots of color (what else is new for me, right?).  So I started with my PEACOCK PRETTIES set for the feather, and used sentiments from the DREAM IN COLOR set against a background created with yellow ink and the WHOLE LOTTA DOTS set.  Then I embellished with a "tail" under the button from the ARROWS 'N ELEMENTS set and a few dotted lines and black hearts from the I LIKE YOU set.  Whew!! That was FIVE stamp sets on ONE card!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! I'm the last stop on the hop!  However, if you got lost along the way, or want to take a second glance around, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti Blog HERE.

How would you like to WIN some Reverse Confetti goodies of your very own?  Leave a comment on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to REVERSE CONFETTI. SUSIE Q-TIP:  Don't forget that you can change the color of a button by coloring it with your Copic markers.  This yellow buttton was a bland butter color, but I matched it up with my ink by using a little Y08, Acid Yellow.  Haha.  My button's on acid.

Accessories:  Heart Punch (SU!), Copic Marker, Plastic Dots (Basic Grey), Button, Divine Twine (TCP), Hot Glue, Jody Boosters
