Well, what's the verdict? Do ya'll love or do ya'll LOVE the July release from REVERSE CONFETTI? As my youngest would say (and she thinks she's so clever for doing so), "I don't like it. I LOVE it"! Lucky for ya'll, the wait is finally over, and it's time for another new release from your favorite new company! That's right, it's our second release and it's even better than the first one. Another 4 new stamp sets are being released TODAY (available now)! We know you all are excited to see what's new, so start by hopping along with the Confetti Crew, along with some other special guests.
REVERSE CONFETTI BLOG, and you should have made it here from our 'FETTI FAVE, Lisa Foust's blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti’s second release of 4 brand new stamp sets! Here's what I came up with:
I just HAD to pick up my ARROWS 'N ELEMENTS stamps again and make some scrapbooking cards/embellishments--perfect for all you Project Lifers' out there! This is the project I hinted at yesterday that I was still working on (wink!), and I thought six cards was a good round number.
They were super easy to put together...I just stamped several of the images in the different colors of my color scheme on white and kraft. Then took a few minutes to cut them all out, so that (once again) I'd have lots of pieces and parts to work with. I made the base cards 3x4 and rounded the corners, then just started putting them together (no sketches, just whatever my little heart desired!). I added some stamping to a few of them with my WHOLE LOTTA DOTS set, too.
If I thought one was a little plain, I'd add a little more stuff to it! I think when I was done, I only had about three unused stamped pieces from my Arrows 'n Elements set! Now, to get started on Project Life! What is this, a week's worth of cards? How many do I need? So much to learn...who's volunteering to give me some lessons?
Ok, guess what? You've made it to the end of the hop! If you want to go back and take a second look at any of the creations the Confetti Crew and the other FABULOUS designers who joined us on this RELEASE HOP, you can find the hop order and list of everyone who participated over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
SUSIE Q-TIP: Although I've never made anything following the premise of Project Life (am I supposed to capitalize that?), I have made a couple of mini albums using some slide in pages (must show those sometime). Therefore, I knew it was a good idea when cutting the bases for these cards to keep them just a hair smaller than 3x4. And I mean barely. Like just to the inside of the ruler mark on my trimmer. Keep this in mind and you won't be sorry.
