July TCP Tuesday Take 2

Well, I've got a big list of stuff to do today.  With our beach trip coming up, there's a few extra "beach" things we will be needing to cart along with us.  So far, I've gotten a plastic pail and shovel.  So, me, here in landlocked North Texas where there are no beaches will be on a scavenger hunt today to locate some of these things.  Like those little "low" beach chairs...and where in the world do you get a beach blanket?  Should I just sew some big towels together?  This should be interesting.
So my card today is what I have as a 2nd sample for this month's TCP Tuesday Challenge from The Cat's PajamasThis month, Alma is challenging everyone to include a handmade tag on your card or project, or simply make the tag BE your project!

I suppose this is about what we will resemble come Sunday when we hit the road, except I hope to be able to fit everything in the trunk.  I do have a beach umbrella that's similar to that one I colored, so at least I can check that off the list.  I made this card a couple of week's ago using the new TRAVELIN' MAN stamp set and a cute LUGGAGE TAG from the CutUps Die Set.  I embossed it with a chevron-ish embossing folder.  I think it looks like tire marks!

Ok, I better get this show on the road, so I'll leave ya'll with THIS LINK to find out how to play along in our TCP Tuesday Challenge and you could be seeing sunny skies if you are picked as the SWANKY STAMPER of the month!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  I love the look of sentiments stamped on grid or lined patterned paper.  If you don't have any handy, use a 3x5 index card for this.  Can you tell that's what I did?
