Celebrate Good Times, Come On!

Well, the sun is starting to come out today, so naturally things are a little less relaxed here in Lilesland.  The girls (who are going stir-crazy) have a friend over and it's pretty loud in here with them playing Wii and Scene It.  Much different than the peaceful, rainy days we had Monday and Tuesday.  That's ok, at least they are having fun.  Good times and good memories are being made, right?

Speaking of celebrating good times (I love that song from Kool and the Gang, by the way), I have a card for ya'll today from REVERSE CONFETTI, using the new CELEBRATE CAKE stamp set.

I made the card with a little pocket for the tag that has a smidgen of WHOLE LOTTA DOTS stamped across the bottom, that can come out.  It's been a long time since I made one like this.

I kept it pretty simple, as the CELEBRATE CAKE stamps speak for themselves--they say, "Hey, look at me, I'm CUTE and super easy to work with!"....well, that proves it.  It's true.  I've been inside just a little too much this week.  I must need some fresh air.

SUSIE Q-TIP:  At first I thought I was going to have to sew around the bottom and sides to make the pocket strong enough to stay together in order to slide the tag in and out.  Nope!  I just used some Scor-tape and it worked like a charm.  Came together like a piece of cake.

Stamps:  Celebrate Cake, Whole Lotta Dots (Reverse Confetti)
Paper:  White, Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores (PTI), Creamy Caramel (SU!), A Mother's Love 6x6 (My Mind's Eye)

Accessories:  Notebook Edge Die-namics (MFT), Circle and Pinking Circle Nestabilities, Seeing Spots Embossing Folder, Circle Punches, Copic Marker, Silver Brads, Ribbon, Scor-Tape, Jody Boosters
Finished Size:  A2
