Well, I'm so excited for this week!  The sun is shining, my flowers aren't dead (yet), payday is Saturday, Scrapbook convention this weekend, Audrie's award ceremony is tomorrow and I get to see one of my super friends, and school let's out on Thursday (and did I mention payday is Saturday?)!  Lots going on, but all for the good.

AND, in case ya'll weren't aware, Jen's Sketch For You To Try is BACK!!  It made it's way into Reverse Confetti's repertoire of fabulous inspiration and ya'll can still play along, using any stamps.  Get all that scoop about SFYTT on the RC BLOG HERE.

I wanted to use my I Like You set again (I can't get enough of that font!  I may need it for a blog redo), but use the "make everything better" with it this time.  I had been wanting to try that cool sunburst look, so I looked up a few tutorials on Pinterest (there's several ways to do it) and tweaked them into "my own way" of doing it.  It's not perfect, but I really like it and want to try it again for sure.  I kept having to cut down my sun panel to fit my card, so a bunch was trimmed off.  These would make awesome ATC's, don't ya'll think?
Also, this morning as I was cruising the "internets", I found a challenge page on Facebook called The Challenge Chicks.  It just so happens that this month's challenge is "Here comes the sun"--use yellow, orange and white, with a sun.  So I'm putting it on there, too.  Check them out--it's a FUN group of girls that are some of everyone's favorite stampers!

Here's a look at the cute Reverse Confetti stamp set I used.  That font.  {swoon!}  And I almost forgot---this month's SFYTT SKETCH!!:
SUSIE Q-TIP:  When piercing your paper using a plastic "hole-guide", notice that it sometimes shimmies out of line.  When it does this, you will not get a perfectly straight line of piercings.  Not to worry.  Just poke more wonky holes in another line underneath or above it, purposely not straight.  You have now just entered into "shabby-chic-ville" and you can say you meant to do that.  Don't ask me how I know this.  I don't want to talk about it.
