Well, how's ya'll's week been? Audrie had VBS this week, and my car decided to go on the blink. It runs, but really rough, and I'm afraid it's going to stall out at an intersection. The Beast seems to have this problem about every other summer, so I know what it needs at least. Chores kept me pretty busy at home though, and I did have some time to craft a couple of things. Yay! I've actually had this REVERSE CONFETTI card made for a while, so I thought I'd share it today. First things first, right?
I made this one for a publication call, but sadly, it didn't get picked up. I was going to hang onto it and "shop it around" to other mags, but now I've gotten too antsy to show it here! See? Ya'll are important to me and I really like showing ya'll my projects! (Also, Sage had a few poop/puke issues recently, and I didn't have time to make what I wanted to.)
Anyway, I used the PEACOCK PRETTIES set and stamped them in sort of a "fan" configuration. I heat embossed two of them with gold glitter embossing powder. I also covered the button in embossing ink, dipped it in the powder, and heated it, too. FUN! I love embossing...it's like magic! I just don't do it enough!
SUSIE Q-TIP: Remember to use that corner rounder occasionally. It adds interest to a too "rectangle-y" card.
