Well, so far, this week has gone by way too FAST! I know a bunch of ya'll's kids are already getting out of school. The girls' last day is next Thursday, and I know that week will speed by as well. I'm so ready for them to be home for the summer. I can't wait to do some fun (and cheap) stuff. They still love it when I use my "well-worn" Summer Schedule for a little structure in our days. If you have young kids (or not, mine are 9 and 12), you may want to check out what I came up with so long ago. Of course, that was before Pinterest (B.P.) and now it's even more fun finding things to do.
Anyway, with thoughts of summer in mind, I wanted to make something bright and vibrant. I hadn't made anything "rainbow-ey" with my Reverse Confetti DREAM IN COLOR set, so I started with that. Since it has no "image" stamps, I combined it with my HAPPY HARBOR set and created a fun tag with the pennant stamp. (Just because it comes in a nautical set, doesn't mean it has to stay nautical...is that naughty?) I loved a "tag" card I saw on Pinterest that had the little clothespin holding it onto the twine, so I followed that lead and this card was born. What do ya'll think?
SUSIE Q-TIP: I love using clear bling or silver brads. They go with EVERYTHING. However, I have tons of colored bling as well (don't lie, I'm sure ya'll do too!) that I don't know why, but I don't use as often. I need to do that and so do ya'll.
