Countdown to Confetti: HAPPY HARBOR Sneak Peek

Well, OMG I can't believe it's finally here!  Today is the first day of SNEAK PEEKS for REVERSE CONFETTI!

Are ya'll ready to be totally wowed by what's coming your way on the 8th (when the stamps are available)!?!  I have 2 cards to share today (because I was just a little bit excited!), SOOOOO...Without further adieu, I give you--HAPPY HARBOR!

Here's a closer look at my Whale Done card.  I was going for a preppy look to this card and I absolutely love how it turned out!  I stamped an extra navy whale, cut him our and popped him up in the center.  He wasn't complete without some glossy accents!

Next up is this little lighthouse card.  I had the idea ever since I saw Jen's design concept for this set and thought it would be so cool to make a shaker card with some real sand.

The real sand came from my neighbor's yard (don't worry JoAnn, I'm pretty sure I got all the cat poop out of it!).  I put the little red hearts in there to tumble around, but I'm not so sure if they are doing their job, as they got buried during high tide.

Ok, ya'll want to see more?  Jen has a link list of the Confetti Crew contributors for today's SNEAK PEEKS over on the REVERSE CONFETTI BLOG.  But before you go, here's a look at the full set (because we're cool like that):

But wait there's MORE!
We have a little something for YOU! Leave a comment on my post today for your chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to REVERSE CONFETTI! You have until 1 pm EST on May 7th to leave a comment. (Only one comment per blog per day, please!). The winner will be randomly chosen from all the DT blogs and Sneak Peeks for May 5-7th and announced on the Reverse Confetti blog at 5 pm EST on May 7th. Good Luck!!  I'll be back tomorrow with more to show ya'll!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  When making a shaker card with sand, be sure to use your embossing buddy (or antistatic device) on the clear plastic "window".  Do not use a dryer sheet for this as it will leave a residue.  Don't ask me how I know this.  I don't want to talk about it other than let's just say I had to make this card twice.
